This is a TechGirlz Workshop but all are welcome. Students will use Python to create simple shapes and designs and use code to animate them. During this workshop, participants will create a house and a moving car. This class is led by Suchita Srinivasan, a TechGirlz TAB member.  Please note this is a 2-part class.

TechGirlz’ mission is to inspire middle school girls to explore the possibilities of technology to empower their future careers. Our vision is to create a world where girls have a lifelong passion and confidence in their use of technology throughout their careers.

For grades 5 through 8. Register once to attend both classes: Jan 28 and Feb 11. Laptops will be provided but feel free to bring your own. A waitlist is available in lieu of walk-ins. You will be emailed in the event of a weather-related cancellation. Parents must remain in the building for children under the age of 12.
