The Trail of the Whispering Giants
Noted story teller and former journalist Mike Allen narrates amazing tales about people, places and events from Connecticut history.
In the 1900s, artist Peter Toth traveled the country, creating wooden sculptures depicting the Native American peoples living in that area. He made and donated at least one such sculpture to each of the 50 states, including Connecticut. But, Connecticut’s statue went missing. Mike Allen spent several months tracking down the artwork and shares the story behind finding it.
