Ready, Set, Kindergarten! 

A three-week series of enhanced storytimes focusing on a different readiness practice that will help your child get ready for the classroom setting. Some of the practices we will be focusing on will be: Ready to Learn, Play with Others, Reading & Writing, and Social skills. 

The intention of our Ready, Set, Kindergarten series is not to hand out a checklist of milestones that children must accomplish before entering school. Instead, we hope to give children and parents a safe, comfortable place to practice being in a classroom. 

For children ages 4-5 years old. Register once per child to attend all 3 classes: August 12, 19, 26.

Registration is required for each child. Space is limited. A limited waitlist is available in lieu of walk-ins. 

• Cheshire Residents: Cheshire residents may register beginning on July 29th.

• Non-Residents: Non-residents may register starting on August 5th.

Caregivers for children under 12 years of age must remain inside the library building during events.
