Explore the amazing diversity of Connecticut by collecting stamps from participating libraries, and you could win Book Bucks for the Friends Books Sale or even a $200 Visa gift card!

Visit any participating library to have your passport stamped by a library employee and receive a token gift.* To be eligible to win, you must visit at least five participating libraries. Participate in one of two age groups: Adult (18 and up) or Child (under 18). Turn in your finished Passport to any participating library by Friday, May 10, 2024.

Each age group will have two statewide Visa gift card winners: one random drawing and one "Top Traveler." The "Top Traveler" prize in each age group will be awarded to the patron who has visited the most eligible libraries. A tie will be broken by a random drawing.

Participants who return their Passports to Cheshire Public Library will also be entered into a local drawing as well as the statewide drawing. One child and one adult in the local drawing will win $10 in Book Bucks for the Friends Book Sale, and the "Top Travelers" will be awarded $10 in Book Bucks. There will be a total of four local winners and four statewide winners.

The Cheshire drawing will be held by Friday, May 17, and the statewide drawing will be held by Monday, June 10. Winners will be notified by Friday, June 14 by phone or email. Statewide winners' first names and hometown/home library will be posted on the Connecticut Library Association Facebook page and library directors of home libraries will also be notified they had a winner.

* Not all libraries in the state are participating; not all participating libraries are giving gifts. Please be kind to library staff!
