Author and pop culture historian Marty Gitlin presents: From Book to Screen: The Greatest Film Adaptations of All Time!

From Wizard of Oz to Wicked and everything in-between, welcome to The Greatest Film Adaptations of All Time. Author and pop culture historian Marty Gitlin will show snippets of such classics as Wizard of Oz, To Kill a Mockingbird, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Godfather, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Color Purple, Shawshank Redemption, The Shining, Forrest Gump, Sense and Sensibility, Little Women and Wicked. Marty will play film adaptation trivia with the patrons along the way. Marty will have autographed and personalized copies of his books available after the program.
