THE Connecticut CCC

Join author Martin Podskoch as he shares his book “Connecticut Civilian Conservation Corps Camps: History, Memories and Legacy.” This year marks the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Civilian Conservation Corps, a program  begun by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on Mar. 31, 1933  to relieve the poverty and unemployment of the Depression—the “New Deal.”  Books will be available for purchase and signing.
