Virtual Books Over Coffee
Want to engage in great discussions about books? Meet new people? Join us for an adult monthly book club program called Books Over Coffee. We will meet over Zoom for our July meeting. This month's book is the 2020 pulitzer prize winner for fiction The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead.
Once you have registered, we will email you a reminder the day before the book is available for downloading. Multiple copies of the e-book or eaudio will be available to download on Overdrive/Libby for 1 Day ONLY on Monday July 6 from 8:00am-9:00pm. If you register after July 6 you will be able to participate in the discussion but the book will no longer be available to download.
You will need an up-to-date Cheshire Library card in order to download the book. If you are a Cheshire resident and need a library card, use this link to get a library card. If you live out-of-town, you will be able to get a special temporary library card to allow you to access just this e-book. Contact shernandez@cheshirelibrary.org before June 30th to get the card.
Please be sure you know how to access Overdrive or Libby from the Cheshire Library website before the book is released on July 6. The book can be downloaded to a smartphone, Kindle, iPad or computer. For assistance, contact the library at ref@cheshirelibrary.org or 203-272-2245.
At 11am on July 29th, we will email you a link to join the Zoom for Virtual Books Over Coffee.
