On With Life (OWL) Meeting and Program

10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Open Meeting

10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. When the Holidays Hurt, Meditation Can Help

The Holiday season can be a painful time for many who have lost a loved one. It is difficult to be merry and bright when sadness and heartache fill your heart. In this session, we will turn to the work and the teachings of one of the biggest experts in the field of human suffering...the Buddha himself.  The Buddha dedicated his life to finding ways to alleviate the suffering of all beings.

Come join us as we explore some of these ancient Buddhist teachings to understand the philosophies and perspectives in overcoming such adversity and sorrow along with some other helpful insight, tips and coping strategies. Our hope is to help you make the shift in perception you need to begin to live pain free once again and find joy not only in the Holidays but in everyday life.

Speaker Tia Mandrozos will also guide you through a short meditation focusing on healing your heart and restoring it back to wholeness.

Please register for this event.  At 9:00 am on December 7, you will receive an emailed link to join the OWL meeting at 10:00.
