Mad Science: Dinosaurs (Grades K-2)
Kids examine fossil casts and explore the differences in the teeth of herbivorous and carnivorous dinosaurs with experts from Mad Science. Students participate in a mini dinosaur excavation and make a cast of a dinosaur tooth.
Best for children in grades K-2. Please register and you will receive a link to the zoom meeting one hour prior to the program.
Please try to gather the following supplies prior to the program however, children will still enjoy the program if you are not able to obtain these items:
- Mirror (Any)
- Small clean styrofoam plate to make a bite imprint
- Small dino toy to make imprints it can be substituted by seashells, any shape of pasta noodles or any small toy
- White glue
- Play dough or clay or make your own dough: ½ cup salt + 1 cup flour + 1/3 cup water
- Paper + pencil
- Scotch tape
