Do you love to read? And love art? Let's discuss! Join us for a monthly book club discussion on the third Friday of each month from 11am to 12:30pm. 

While we've been hosting most of these meetings virtually via Zoom, we are hoping to host the September meeting in-person at Mixville Park under the shade trees. If weather and other factors cooperate, we invite you to bring your own chair and join us in a socially-distanced outdoor setting.  Should conditions not prevail, keep an eye out for an emailed notice of a meeting via Zoom or a postponed meeting date.

This month's discussion is on Strapless by Deborah Davis. Thanks to the Friends of the Cheshire Library, multiple copies of the e-book will be available to download on Overdrive/Libby on Tuesday September 1 and Wednesday September 2. 

You will need an up-to-date Cheshire Library card in order to download the book. If you are a Cheshire resident and need a library card, use this link to get a library card. Non-Cheshire residents will need to get the physical book or e-book from their own library.  Books can now also be requested from other libraries. 

Please be sure that you know how to access Overdrive or Libby from the Cheshire Library website before the book is released on September 1. The book can be downloaded to a smartphone, Kindle, iPad or computer. For assistance, contact the library at ref@cheshirelibrary or 203-272-2245.  A staff member will get back to you.

This meeting will be hosted by Cheshire Art League member Carole Constantino.

Please register for this program online. Once you have registered, we will email you a reminder the day before the book is available for downloading. If you register after September 2 you will be able to participate in the discussion but the book will no longer be available to download.

At 10:00am on September 18, we will email you a reminder regarding the meeting--or a Zoom link in the event we are not able to meet in person.
