Murder by the Book Mystery Book Club: The Murder of Roger Ackroyd
Do you like to read and talk about mysteries? Then join us for monthly book discussions, fresh perspectives, new authors and a friendly atmosphere! We are meeting virtually via Zoom for the present and will eventually transition to meeting in the library.
This month's discussion is on The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie. Featuring Hercule Poirot, this is considered by some to be Agatha Christie’s masterpiece and was certainly one of her best –known and most controversial novels. Why? Read it and join us for the discussion!
Thanks to the Friends of the Cheshire Library, multiple copies of the e-book are available to download on Overdrive/Libby from January 1 through January 15.
You will need an up-to-date Cheshire Library card in order to download the book. If you are a Cheshire resident and need a library card, use this link to get a library card. Non-Cheshire residents will need to get the physical book or e-book from their own library. Books can now also be requested from other libraries.
Please be sure that you know how to access Overdrive or Libby from the Cheshire Library website before the book is released. The book can be downloaded to a smartphone, Kindle, iPad or computer. For assistance, contact the library at ref@cheshirelibrary.org or 203-272-2245.
