Author Talk: Arlington National Cemetery

Author Talk: Arlington National Cemetery

Arlington National Cemetery, one of America's most important historical landmarks, is best known for more than 300,000 graves and famous monuments. But before this beautiful spot on the Potomac became a cemetery, it had a very interesting history entwined with the early history of the Virginia settlement and some of Virginia's first families including the Custis's, Lees, and Washingtons. Join Us as author Cindy Parzych presents the backstory of this iconic spot and highlights some of the stories of the interesting people who lived and were buried in Arlington National Cemetery.

A special thank you to the Friends of the Cheshire Library for their funding of this program.
