POSTPONED New Haven's First Pizzerias

Join us, as Colin M. Caplan the pizza guru will discuss how pizza in New Haven came to be. From the Italian immigrants bringing their special recipes.

Colin M. Caplan is New Haven born, raised and bred on New Haven apizza. He is a graduate of Tulane University School of Architecture, professor of history at Wesleyan University, author of 7 books including Pizza in New Haven, producer of Pizza, a love story, and other food related media, runs Taste of New Haven culinary food tours, virtual pizza classes & event, Elm City Party Bike, as well as party bikes, party boats and food tours in 3 states, is a National Historic Register consultant, historian and genealogist. Caplan also created The Pizza Bill, which aims to make pizza the official state food of Connecticut.
