Author Talk: Kate Moore

New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of "The Radium Girls" Kate Moore will be with us to discuss her new book "The Woman They Could Not Silence" live on Zoom Monday, June 21, 2021 at 6pm. Tune in to learn about Elizabeth Packard, a wife and mother of six who, in 1860, was committed to an insane asylum by none other than her husband. And she wasn't alone. The site is the Illinois State Hospital in Jacksonville, Illinois- an institution full of rational women banished from society in order to silence them and their opinions.

Registration is required. A link to the program will be emailed to all registrants one hour before the start of the program.
