An Evening with Author Alena Dillon

Join us for an evening with author Alena Dillon, whose debut novel Mercy House was named Library Journal's Best Book of 2020 and which has been optioned for a CBS television series produced by Amy Schumer.  Her award-winning novels are inspired by true events, and feature complex female characters who grapple with various forms of injustice.  Dillon has also written The Happiest Girl in the World and her memoir, My Body is a Big Fat Temple, will be released on October 12, 2021.

Alena Dillon earned her MFA from Fairfield University and lives on the North Shore of Boston with her husband and son and their black Labrador, Penny.

This program is being co-sponsored by the Friends of the Cheshire Performing and Fine Arts Commission and the Cheshire Public Library.  

Registration is required and will close 2 hours before the event.  The link to attend will be sent out 1 hour before the program.
