Housing Choice for the Whole Life Cycle: Opportunities and Benefits

Housing Choice for the Whole Life Cycle: Opportunities and Benefits

Housing costs are at all time highs. This means it's harder than ever for Cheshire's older residents to afford to stay in their homes. It's harder than ever for growing families to move up from their 'starter homes.' It's also harder than ever for teachers, police officers, nurses, clerical workers, managers, truck drivers, electricians and many others that work in our community to afford to live in our community.

Come listen to experts Dwight Merriam (Fellow and Past President of the American Instituted of Certified Planners) and Sean Ghio (Policy Director of Partnership for Strong Communities) and join in this discussion of housing and one potential solution to our housing shortage and cost crisis - accessory dwelling units (ADUs.)
