Murder by the Book Mystery Book Club: Light on Bone

Murder by the Book Mystery Book Club: Light on Bone

Do you like to read and talk about mysteries? Then join us for monthly book discussions, fresh perspectives, new authors and a friendly atmosphere! We meet virtually via Zoom.

This month we will discuss Light on Bone by Kathryn Lasky, who is well-known for her popular children’s and teen books and has now created an exciting new adult amateur sleuth mystery featuring the famous painter Georgia O’Keefe. After suffering a nervous breakdown in 1933, Georgia travels to New Mexico to paint and discovers the slain body of a priest in the desert. Or is he a priest? More murder follows and a series of intricate twists and turns lead to a thoroughly unforeseen denouement. More than a who-dunnit mystery, this is a narrative of healing and resurrection of spirit.

Only the e-audiobook version will be available for Cheshire residents to download from Libby from January 1-15.  Please request copies of the book via your local library.

You will need an up-to-date Cheshire Library card in order to download the book. Non-Cheshire residents will need to get the book or e-book from their own library.
