On With Life (OWL): Improving Life After Loss
On With Life (OWL) is a social group for people 60+ who are without partners due to death or divorce. If you are finding it difficult to move on with life after being uncoupled, we would love to have you attend one of our events or join us for an open meeting. We hope to provide social options not available elsewhere.
10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Open Meeting via Zoom
10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. How 'Less Is More' Can Improve Life After Loss
When we experience the loss of a loved one, we are often left with lots of “things” to process—ranging from memories of special experiences to actual physical things, such as mementos and possessions.
Christine Thorn, a KonMari Consultant, will demonstrate how applying the KonMari philosophy of decluttering to the bereavement process will be liberating and help you reach a place where the things you have chosen to keep begin to create peace, even joy, to fill the space where the grief was taking root.
Please register for this event. At 9:00 am on November 2, you will receive an emailed link to join the OWL meeting at 10:00.
